Rokstone, an international specialty re/insurance managing general agent (MGA), has announced the appointment of Lucy Barker-Hahlo as Deputy Head of Cyber within its newly launched Cyber division.
This follows Rokstone’s announcement last week of the launch of its dedicated Cyber division and the appointment of Debbie Hobbs to lead the unit, who will be joining the company in 2026.
The launch marks a significant milestone for Rokstone as it continues to expand its specialty underwriting footprint.
Cyber has become one of the fastest-expanding specialty classes worldwide, with insureds seeking more comprehensive protection, proactive risk-mitigation support, and underwriters capable of navigating rapidly evolving digital exposures. Rokstone’s investment in specialist underwriting talent reflects its commitment to meeting this demand.
Barker-Hahlo will join Rokstone following her notice period from Mosaic Insurance, where she spent the past four years developing her Cyber underwriting expertise, most recently serving as VP, Cyber Underwriting and Cyber Team Lead.
Prior to that, she served as an underwriter at EmergIn Risk, part of Ryan Specialty.
