Life and health reinsurer Reinsurance Group of America (RGA) announced that Axel André will join as Executive Vice President on June 24, 2024, becoming CFO on August 5, while Todd Larson transitions to the role of Special Advisor to the CEO until his retirement on December 31, 2024.

André comes to RGA from American Equity Investment Life Insurance Company (AEL), where he served as Executive Vice President and CFO since 2021. Before his tenure at AEL, he was Executive Vice President and CFO at Jackson National Life Insurance.
Earlier in his career, André spent seven years at American International Group (AIG), ultimately holding the position of CFO for the Individual Retirement division.
