AXA XL, the property and casualty (P&C) and specialty risk division of global insurer AXA, has announced the appointment of Theodore Rodrigues da Costa as Underwriting Manager, Energy Transition.
In this role, Rodrigues da Costa will oversee the Energy Transition portfolio for the UK & Lloyd’s Business Unit while maintaining a frontline underwriting presence.
He most recently served as Senior Underwriter at Munich Re Specialty – Global Markets, Syndicate.
Prior to that, Rodrigues da Costa spent nine years at Liberty Specialty Markets, where he most recently held the position of Senior Underwriter.
He began his career in 2014 at Barclays, where he worked as an Analyst in Corporate Finance – Commercial Real Estate.
