Global insurance and reinsurance broking group Aon has announced that Stephen Hofmann will become U.S. CEO of Reinsurance Solutions for Aon, and Kevin Traetow will serve as U.S. vice chairman of Reinsurance Solutions.
In their new respective roles, both Hofmann and Traetow will collaborate closely together to help formulate and boost Aon’s U.S. Reinsurance Solutions strategy.
Hofmann and Traetow both previously served as U.S. co-presidents of Reinsurance Solutions since 2021.
Aon has confirmed that in their new respective roles, they will both continue to report to Andy Marcell, CEO of Risk Capital for Aon.
Renowned veterans across the re/insurance sector, both Hofmann and Traetow bring extensive expertise towards their new roles.
Hofmann has been with Aon for 27 years, while Traetow has been with the firm for over 15 years, and also previously served at Willis Re (now Gallagher Re).
