Re/insurance broker Aon has appointed Ronnie Tyler as a Senior Marine Broker in the firms Reinsurance Solutions division.
Tyler joins Aon from Gallagher Re, where he previously served as a Divisional Director for just under four years. Prior to that role, he served as a marine and energy reinsurance broker for over five years.
Tyler started his career in the re/insurance industry in the summer of 2011, when he joined Lloyd’s Market Association as an Intern.
Earlier this month on Reinsurance News, it was reported that Aon had acquired ERN (Evaluación de Riesgos Naturales), a Mexico-based leader in risk assessment modeling. Through this acquisition this will help drive and expand Aon’s catastrophe modeling and consultancy capabilities in Latin America.
Meanwhile, in its Q3 22 results, Aon’s net income increased to $408 million, recovering from a loss of $900 million from the same period last year.
In addition, earlier this year, Aon named Jeremy Goodman as the UK president for its Reinsurance Solutions business.
