Lockton Re has announced that it has added former AXA XL executive Rob Littlemore to the board of Lockton Re International LLP as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
The appointment is effective September 1, 2024, and is subject to FCA approval.
An experienced veteran across the sector, Littlemore brings over three decades of expertise towards the role.
Most recently, he served as Chief Executive of AXA XL Global Markets Reinsurance, as well as a Board Director of their Lloyd’s business – Catlin Underwriting Agencies.
Moreover, from 2008 he was Head of Catlin’s London Reinsurance Group, and following the acquisition of Catlin by XL in May 2015, Littlemore was appointed Underwriting Director of Reinsurance.
He started out his career in the industry in 1986, working at Greig Fester Reinsurance Brokers, before moving on to the underwriting side and holding senior underwriting positions at Chaucer, Faraday and Wellington Syndicates.
In addition, Littlemore has also served as a Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) Board member and held Board positions at Catlin Re Switzerland, Catlin Underwriting Agency and AXA XL.
