Lockton Re, the reinsurance arm of independent insurance broker, Lockton, has announced that Andy Wakefield will be joining the company as a Senior Broker within its Marine & Energy division later this year.
In the role, he will be based in London.
Overall, Wakefield has 34 years of expertise from being a Marine and Energy Reinsurance broker, which ultimately makes him a great addition to Lockton Re’s team.
In his most recent role, he served at Aon Reinsurance where he sat on the Marine Executive committee and drove new business production.
Moreover, Wakefield started out his career by working at Tysers, and has also spent time at Benfield subsequently Aon Benfield, as well as Ed. Broking and Willis Re too.
