Chubb’s excess and surplus lines division, Westchester, has promoted Nick Gatt, formerly Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Westchester Programs, to Head of the division.
In the new role, he reports to Dave Lupica, Division President of Westchester. Gatt will oversee strategy, underwriting and profitability for the organization.
Gatt succeeds Franklin Sanders, who has been appointed Head of Global Underwriting for Chubb Group. Meanwhile, Shawn Parker, currently the Senior Vice President, Westchester Program Services will succeed Gatt as the Chief Operating Officer.
Both, Gatt and Parker’s appointments are effective immediately.
The firm stated that these key leadership changes within its Programs business will enhance strategic oversight and reinforce the division’s commitment to delivering exceptional value through its managing general agent portfolio and direct-to-consumer channels.
Lupica commented on the appointments, “Nick and Shawn are exceptional leaders, each uniquely equipped to excel in their new roles.
