Ironshore Specialty Casualty has announced that executives Dawn Puro and Sonny Powers will assume new product line responsibilities, effective immediately.
Puro, Senior Vice President (SVP) of Specialty Casualty at the firm’s New York office has been named Product Line Manager, Public Entity lines and Powers, Vice President and Product Line Manager for Transportation in the firm’s Boston office, will also serve as Product Line Manager, General Casualty.
The pair will report to Kevin Whitehead, Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO), Specialty Casualty at Ironshore, and will be responsible for overseeing product development and distribution strategies, says the firm.
Puro brings more than 20 years’ of dedicated casualty market experience to the new role, and has expertise in a range of specialty product lines. She joined Ironshore in 2009 after spending over 13 years in various casualty roles at insurer AIG.
Powers also joined the firm in 2009 and has previously held production and management roles, and in the past held a number of different roles focused on casualty business.
