Liberty Mutual Insurance Group subsidiary, Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), has announced the appointment of Sam Wilde from Deutsche Bank, as a Senior Underwriter, Global Financial Risks.
Wilde will report to Huw Owen, Global Financial Risks, Head of London Markets, and will be based in the firm’s London office. In the new role he will have responsibility for underwriting credit transactions for the broad client base of the Global Financial Risks unit, which includes corporates, banks, financial institutions and development financial institutions.
Wilde joins the firm after six years with Deutsche Bank in London, where he worked as a Director in the Structured Commodity Trade Finance division, and also as an Emerging Markets Credit Officer. His 14 year career in the banking and trade finance sectors also includes UBS, where he held a number positions within the company’s credit risk team.
