Liberty Mutual Insurance Group subsidiary, Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), has announced the promotion of Laura Burns to Head of Business Development, Commercial.
Burns joined LSM in 2010 and prior to her new appointment served as Broker Account Manager at the firm. In her new role she will be responsible for managing the firm’s relationships with brokers across its commercial operations.
She will be based in the firm’s London office, and will report to Mark Stephenson, Head of Business Development and Market Relationships.
Stephenson, commented; “Laura’s appointment reflects our increasing focus on building great partnerships and managing relationships with our brokers and clients. We place great emphasis on providing the support and expertise our brokers need, so that jointly we can deliver a first class service for clients.”
Prior to joining LSM Burns worked for insurance and reinsurance broker JLT Group, and also Mitsui Sumitomo.
