Munich Re Specialty, a provider of specialty insurance solutions and part of the Munich Re Group, has appointed Andrew Fowles as Head of Broking within its Binding Authorities business.
Fowles has more than 25 years of experience in delegated authority and specialty underwriting, with a background spanning US property and casualty, Lloyd’s, and global excess and surplus lines markets.
He joins Munich Re Specialty from South Shore Insurance Underwriters (SSIU), where he held the role of Chief Underwriting Officer.
His previous experience includes senior leadership positions at Canopius Group as well as a number of Lloyd’s syndicates.
The appointment supports Munich Re Specialty – Binding Authorities’ continued focus on strengthening its broking capabilities and market presence.
