Acrisure Re, the re\/insurance division of Acrisure, has made leadership changes within its international reinsurance division, appointing David Sowrey as Managing Director and Nigel Dane as Chairman of Acrisure Re\u2019s International Treaty business.<\/p>\n

\"\"Both leaders are based in London and will continue to report directly to CEO, Simon Hedley, who commented, \u201cThese strategic appointments are designed to sharpen our focus on our continued growth and strengthen our partnerships with key clients and markets, further leveraging Acrisure Group\u2019s relationships.<\/p>\n

“David and Nigel\u2019s leadership will be crucial as we continue our extraordinary global growth and success.<\/p>\n

“I look forward to continuing our collaboration as we strive to further expand our international reinsurance capabilities and offerings, reaching new heights together.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Managing Director of the International Treaty division, Sowrey will continue to lead the reinsurance broking operations.<\/p>

Since joining Acrisure Re in 2012, Sowrey has reportedly been key in expanding the London platform. He has also been involved in the development and placement of treaty reinsurance, Lloyd\u2019s consortia and MGAs.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, as Chairman of Acrisure Re\u2019s International Treaty business, Dane will focus on developing and strengthening relationships with new and existing clients and markets, further enhancing Acrisure Re\u2019s partnerships with large and important cedants and reinsurers.<\/p>\n

Dane has been with Acrisure Re since 2002, when he established and led the London office. Collectively, he holds over 40 years of re\/insurance industry expertise.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
