BMS Re, the reinsurance division of global broker BMS Group, has appointed Brad Melvin as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BMS Re, US, effective from November, subject to regulatory approval.<\/p>\n

\"\"In the meantime, Group CEO Nick Cook and Andrew Wheeler, President and Co-CEO of BMS Group, will continue to lead the business, supported by the US EXCO and Group Chief Operating Officer, Chris Brook.<\/p>\n

Melvin will have a reporting line to Cook, and will lead BMS Re US operations focusing on delivering strategic goals and driving growth across its MGA, regional specialty, facultative reinsurance, healthcare and capital solutions and advisory lines.<\/p>\n

Most recently, he served at Aon Reinsurance Solutions as the President of the US regional insurer group and global insurance vertical leader.<\/p>\n

Melvin has previously held executive leadership and client development roles at Gen Re, CNA Financial, and has been a member of Aon Re\u2019s global executive committee and leadership team and Aon corporation\u2019s executive leadership team.<\/p>
