Australian insurance broker AUB Group has announced the appointments of Tom Wilson as CEO of Tysers and Bob Pybus as CEO of AUB UK Retail, both effective from 1 October 2024 and subject to regulatory approval.<\/p>\n

\"\"As Wilson takes his new role, Mike Emmett, CEO and MD of AUB Group, will cease to act as interim CEO of Tysers, according to the announcement.<\/p>\n

Wilson, an experienced Lloyd\u2019s broker and insurance professional, will work with his senior management team to stimulate growth in the Marine & Aviation, Property & Casualty, Speciality, and Tysers Live sectors, both within London and on a global scale.<\/p>\n

The executive has extensive experience in senior management and strategic roles, including substantial time spent as a CEO.<\/p>\n

Most recently, he served as Head of Tysers Marine & Aviation where he oversaw an exponential increase in the size of its portfolio, establishing the division as one of Lloyd\u2019s foremost Marine brokers.<\/p>

Wilson said: \u201cI am delighted to have the opportunity to lead Tysers and, with the support of an exceptionally talented senior management team, seize opportunities for growth and meet the increasing demand for specialist insurance expertise and technical skills in the London and international markets.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pybus, an expert in developing and managing risks for clients across the retail sector, brings more than four decades of industry experience to his new role.<\/p>\n

As CEO of AUB UK Retail, he will oversee the expansion of operations in the UK retail broking market, leveraging the Group\u2019s prowess and capabilities developed in Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n

The executive is highly skilled in acquiring and integrating businesses and brings a wealth of senior leadership expertise, AUB notes. Prior to being appointed CEO AUB UK Retail, Pybus was Head of Tysers Retail.<\/p>\n

Pybus stated: \u201cIt\u2019s a great privilege to have been appointed CEO of AUB UK Retail and shape what is sure to be an exciting future. I\u2019m very fortunate to work with a team of dedicated professionals to drive business growth and enhance the value we offer to brokers and clients.\u201d<\/p>\n
