Acrisure Re, the reinsurance and insurance division of global fintech Acrisure, has appointed Peter Sharpe as the Head of the London-based Specialty Reinsurance team, effective October 7th.<\/p>\n

\"\"Sharpe has a reporting line to David Sowrey, Managing Director of Acrisure Re\u2019s International Treaty business.<\/p>\n

His remit will include a focus on driving the growth and development of the international property and specialty reinsurance portfolio.<\/p>\n

Sharpe brings over two decades of industry experience, joining from Gallagher Re, where he served as an Executive Director. Before this, he held the same role at Willis Towers Watson for more than nine years.<\/p>\n

Sharpe started his career in the ceded Re team at Hiscox before moving on to assistant underwriter roles in the property treaty divisions at XL Re and then at Trans Re.<\/p>
