Acrisure London Wholesale (ALW), the London-based wholesale division of Acrisure, has promoted Tom Quy to Managing Director, effective January 1, 2025.<\/p>\n

He succeeds John Sutton, who will transition into a new role as a consultant, providing strategic guidance to the ALW management team. Quy will report to Simon Hedley, Global Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Acrisure Re.<\/p>\n

\"acrisure-logo\"Quy’s remit includes leading ALW\u2019s overall business strategy, and collaborating closely with Acrisure\u2019s senior leaders to identify growth opportunities and expand product offerings and solutions.<\/p>\n

Additionally, he will focus on enhancing the existing team while continuing to attract top talent.<\/p>\n

Quy with over 17 years of industry experience, joined ALW in 2019 as Senior Vice President, shortly after the London Wholesale business launched in 2018. He played a pivotal role in building ALW\u2019s cyber wholesale practice and later launched Acrisure Re\u2019s cyber reinsurance division, becoming the cyber practice leader.<\/p>

He has previously held senior roles at Miller, Paragon International, and began his career at THB Group.<\/p>\n

Hedley commented, “I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to John for his exceptional leadership, dedication, and the vision that led to the establishment of ALW. His efforts in founding and growing the business have been instrumental to its success, and we are fortunate to continue benefiting from his expertise in a consultancy capacity.<\/p>\n

“Tom steps into this leadership role with a wealth of experience, deep market knowledge, and strong client relationships. I am confident in his ability to guide ALW into its next chapter as we expand our capabilities, grow our team, and pursue new opportunities in the London wholesale market.”<\/p>\n

Quy added, “I am honoured to step into the role of Managing Director at ALW. It has been an incredible journey working alongside such a talented team, and I am excited to build on the strong foundation we have established under John\u2019s leadership.
