Prior to Hannover Re, Shanahan spent time with Scottish Re, ING Re, and Lincoln Financial Group.<\/p>\n<p>Shanahan, who will join the firm&#8217;s Executive Leadership Team, takes over as CEO of Life &amp; Health at PartnerRe from Archambault, who is retiring after more than seven years with the reinsurer.
