Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has launched its High Net Worth (HNW) offering in the UK with the appointment of Benjamin Faerestrand as Household Underwriter.<\/p>\n

\"\"Based in London, Faerestrand will be reporting to James Garthwaite, Senior Underwriter, Fine Art & Specie (FAS).<\/p>\n

The executive’s new role will involve defining and executing the UK HNW business plan. This includes developing underwriting guidelines and products, managing broker relationships, and fostering new business.<\/p>\n

He will collaborate closely with LSM\u2019s FAS teams in Europe and the US to enhance the company\u2019s offerings for HNW clients with international needs.<\/p>\n

Faerestrand brings close to 15 years of industry experience, having most recently served as Strategic Account and Team Manager at Chubb.<\/p>

Prior to that, he was an Art and Private Client Development Underwriter for eight years. His expertise lies in underwriting and client relationship management, developed through work in regional hubs such as London, Colchester, and York.<\/p>\n

LSM is strategically entering the UK\u2019s HNW market aiming to build a distinct Lloyd\u2019s proposition in the market, which will be primarily delivered via the Lloyd\u2019s platform across both open market and delegated authority channels.<\/p>\n
