Bermuda-based reinsurer PartnerRe has announced the appointment of Andrew Laing as Head of PartnerRe Capital Management, effective October 1st, 2025.<\/p>\n

\"PartnerRe\"Laing will succeed Andrew Hughes, who is leaving the company after more than four years of service.<\/p>\n

Laing has been with PartnerRe for 17 years, having joined in September 2008 as AVP Underwriter, North American Property Catastrophe. Since then, he has held progressively senior roles across multiple lines and jurisdictions, starting in underwriting and more recently focusing on third-party investor capital deployment.<\/p>\n

Most recently, Laing served as Portfolio Manager for the Third Party Capital team.<\/p>\n
