Lockton Re, the reinsurance arm of the privately held independent insurance broker, has appointed David Bell as Head of Aviation, based in London.<\/p>\n

\"locktonIn his new role, Bell, who has experience in global aviation treaties and excess of loss programmes, including both satellite business and major North American placements, will work with Lockton Re clients and partners globally.<\/p>\n

Most recently, he served at broking group Aon and has held senior aviation roles at Marsh, AIG, and reinsurance broker Gallagher Re.<\/p>\n

Bell began his career at CT Bowring in 1983 as a trainee claims broker, later moving on to the airline placement side, and later the reinsurance team.<\/p>\n
