Lockton Re, the reinsurance business of insurance broker Lockton, has appointed Darsh Patel to lead Transaction Structuring and Reserving Analytics globally and Jack McGregor to lead Retrospective Reinsurance and Legacy Solutions for North America.<\/p>\n

\"lockton-re-logo\"Patel joins Lockton Re from Aon, where he was a Legacy Actuary as part of the Aon Capital Advisory team. He holds over 20 years of experience, having previously served at Riverstone International, BDO, Tradewise Insurance Services, James, Brennan & Associates, and other relevant organisations.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, McGregor joins Lockton Re from Fortitude Re, where he was Chief P&C Reinsurance Officer.<\/p>\n

McGregor\u00a0has also held senior roles at AIG, including CEO of its Eaglestone Re subsidiary, and began his career in the legal profession as a trial litigator and, later, as counsel to the Kemper Insurance Companies.<\/p>\n

Lockton Re noted that Patel will be based in its London office, while McGregor will be based in Chicago, where he will further strengthen Lockton Re\u2019s growing North American Casualty Segment.<\/p>
