Lockton Re, the reinsurance arm of insurance broker Lockton, has launched a new division, London North America Portfolio Solutions (LNAPS), which industry leader Henrietta Butcher will lead.<\/p>\n

\"lockton-re-logo\"Butcher was previously a Managing Director at Tysers, having begun her career there in 1991.<\/p>\n

In the new role at Lockton Re, Butcher is joined by Senior Brokers David Soper, Richard Hodge, Henry Spratt, Paul Long, Laura Weir and Charlie Butcher, supported by a wider team of brokers and servicing professionals.<\/p>\n

Henrietta Butcher commented, \u201cThis is an exciting opportunity for me, and for clients and prospects.<\/p>\n

“I am delighted to be part of Lockton Re\u2019s holistic global Portfolio solution capability that offers expertise to access alternative or complementary capacity from carriers on either side of the Atlantic and from wider International markets, regardless of where MGA clients are located. I\u2019ve found Lockton Re\u2019s culture, drive and enthusiasm really welcoming and energising.\u201d<\/p>

Keith Harrison, International CEO, Lockton Re, said, \u201cLockton Re International already has a significant delegated authority (Binders) account for Specialty and European\/International based MGAs, as well as a wider Portfolios business across all lines, that includes Lloyd\u2019s and London Market Consortia, North American Binders and hybrid\/fronted reinsurance transactions for MGAs.<\/p>\n

“Our new LNAPS Division will specifically expand our capabilities and focus on North American-based MGA clients to secure capacity from London and Internationally based carriers.<\/p>\n

“This expansion will dovetail perfectly with Lockton Re\u2019s Portfolio Solutions operation in the USA that works to secure capacity predominantly from North American-based carriers.\u201d<\/p>\n
