\"\"This rapid implementation, completed in under three months, was achieved through a partnership between Santam, a major South African insurance company, and technology partners Alchemy Technology Services and Buckhill.<\/p>\n

The platform, powered by Buckhill\u2019s C2MS\u00ae technology, was rapidly configured to support accelerator products developed collaboratively with Santam.<\/p>\n

Supported by a network of trusted specialist insurance technology partners, the platform was approved late last year.<\/p>\n

This timely approval came ahead of the 1 January 2026 commencement date for Santam Syndicate 1918. The project was completed in under three months and within the allocated budget.<\/p>

Alchemy, as the system integrator, provided programme governance and coordinating delivery activity alongside Buckhill and other ecosystem technology partners.<\/p>\n

Buckhill deployed and configured a fully compliant platform that supports Santam\u2019s open market, consortia and line-slip business from inception.<\/p>\n

Supporting Santam\u2019s international growth, the digital and data-first approach facilitates the company’s global diversification strategy, allowing the group to enter new markets, expand its specialist insurance offerings, and establish a scalable, efficient operating model for its international expansion.<\/p>\n

Alchemy played a crucial role in selecting key specialist technology partners, while Buckhill integrated these components into an unified ecosystem, specifically tailored to meet Lloyd\u2019s requirements.<\/p>\n

Operational from 1 January 2026, this platform is also intended as a repeatable framework for future new entrants into the Loyd\u2019s market.<\/p>\n
