Allied World Assurance Company Holdings has officially launched its UK Commercial Division and announced that Darren Rowe has joined the firm from Arthur J. Gallagher as Vice President, Head of UK Commercial Division.<\/p>\n

The new UK Commercial Division enables businesses to secure single product or a combination of\u00a0numerous coverages to meet their specific needs, with the main products covered by the new division being Commercial Combined, Property Owners, Contractors All Risks and Combined Liability.<\/p>\n

Rowe will lead the new unit alongside Alan Thorne Vice President, UK Sales & Underwriting Manager, and Dawn Zacharow, Vice President, UK Underwriting Manager.<\/p>\n

Rowe has been in the insurance industry for 28 years, and joins Allied World from Arthur J. Gallagher, where he was Client and Markets Director within the firm’s Market Management division.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the new division, Julian James, President, Global Markets, said; “At Allied World, we put our customer first, developing offerings that best address the risks they face. Our clients tell us they need simple, affordable and flexible insurance solutions and our UK Commercial Division delivers just that \u2014 one application for a range of covers and a single point of contact for underwriting and claims to enable a swift and accurate response to any queries that might arise.”<\/p>
